Meet our amazing staff! Our directors and teachers are all certified in CPR and first aid and, at a minimum, have completed training in Teaching Strategies GOLD and The Creative Curriculum. They also all have completed courses in early childhood education, a testament to their skills and genuine interest in caring for young children.
Ms. Ashleigh, Director
Ms. Ashleigh has been with Junior Jets since 2004. In her role as Director, she puts on several different hats to keep everything running smoothly and support the staff. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CU Boulder, as well as an Early Childhood Education Director’s Certificate from Front Range Community College. She holds Child Health Liaison and Breastfeeding Friendly certifications and has completed ECE-CARES and medication administration training. Outside of work, Ms. Ashleigh enjoys spending time with her husband, Garry, and their pets, Lucky and Arya. She also likes camping and hiking, and, being a true Canadian, she plays ice hockey and disc golf.
Ms. Rebecca, Assistant Director
Ms. Rebecca first started working at Junior Jets in 2009. She loves the friendly staff and adores watching the children grow and discover new things everyday. She has completed her Associates of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education, Infant Nursery Supervisor, lactation consulting, Breastfeeding Friendly, ECE-CARES, Positive Solutions, and medication administration training's. Ms. Rebecca is married with one daughter, Avery, and one son, Henry! When she’s not working, she enjoys time with her family, camping, watching sporting events, and serving as an event coordinator.
Ms. Colene, Infant Teacher
Ms. Colene joined the Junior Jets team in January 2020. Ms. Colene is new to the child care field and is excited to get started on her Early Childhood Education degree. She has lots of experience working with young children through nanny jobs, summer camps and teaching fitness and sports activities to young children. She loves working at Junior Jets and especially with the babies because it is such a close knit family feeling while working. Ms. Colene is originally from South Africa, where her parents and four older siblings still live. She has been in the United States for 13 years and in Colorado since 2019. When she is not working she enjoys trail running, hiking, camping, exploring Colorado and meeting new people.
Ms. Brandy, Infant Teacher
Ms. Brandy joined the Junior Jets team in April 2021. She has been in the field since 2015 and is working towards her degree in Early Childhood. She loves working with her co-teachers and being a part of helping the children learn and grow. When she is not at work, Ms. Brandy enjoys spending time with her husband, Connor, and their dog, Hunter, camping, baking and off-roading.
Ms. Megan, Toddler I Teacher
Ms. Megan joined Junior Jets in February 2015 and is a teacher in the Toddler I classroom. She has been working with children for nearly 8 years and has loved every second of it! She completed her Associates in Early Childhood Education and Infant Nursery Supervisor training. Ms. Megan enjoys spending time with her friends and family, including her two sisters, brother, grandmother, and parents. She also likes to run, bike, hike, and watch Netflix.
Ms. Vivian, Toddler I Teacher
Ms. Donna, Toddler I Teacher
Ms. Donna is originally from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire in the United Kingdom, but moved to Colorado in 2004. After spending some time as a stay-at-home mom to her son, she joined the Junior Jets team in 2012. She enjoys being with the little ones in her Toddler I class. Prior to Junior Jets, she worked as a nanny overseas and as an assistant teacher in an infant room. She earned a National Nursery Examination Board (NNEB) Diploma in Nursery Nursing in 1989 from Huddersfield Technical College. (This was a two-year, full-time course in childcare and development.) In addition, she’s successfully completed multiple early childhood education courses, ECE-CARES training, and Infant Nursery Supervisor certification. Her hobbies include spending time with her husband and son and doing anything involving crafts or art, like painting, sewing, and jewelry making. She became a U.S. citizen on August 13, 2015!
Ms. Denise, Toddler II Teacher
Ms. Denise joined Junior Jets in August 2016 and loves being in the Infant classroom. She has her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Madison College in Wisconsin. She has been working in the early childhood field since 2011 and enjoys working with and teaching the children different activities. Ms. Denise lives in Longmont with her husband, Todd. Outside of work, she enjoys catching up on her drama television, going for walks, coloring, traveling to South Korea to visit family and watching the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers.
Ms. Kaylee Toddler II Teacher
Ms. Kaylee joined the Junior Jets team in August 2021. She is brand new to the field and is excited to get started on her Early Childhood career. She loves getting to spend time with the children and helping them grow. When Ms. Kaylee is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her son, Anthony, her boyfriend and her family; as well as playing the violin, crafting and spending time with her three cats, Zeus, Xiva and Tink, and two dogs, Shadow and Pecas.

Ms. Stacy, Preschool I Teacher
Ms. Stacy loves educating young minds and watching the children in her Preschool I classroom grow. She joined the Junior Jets team in 2013 and has worked in the field since 2003. She has completed multiple early childhood education (ECE) classes already and is continuing her ECE education. In addition, she has completed ECE-CARES training. She is married with two daughters and a cat. When she’s not working, she finds time to paint, hike, and paddle board. She also belongs to a production company where she dances and sings, and she plays the ukulele.
Ms. Reese, Preschool I Teacher
Ms. Reese joined the Junior Jets team in October 2019. She has a degree in BA Comparative Literature with a minor in Education from the University of California Santa Barbara, she is also currently taking some Early Childhood Education classes as Front Range Community College. She has many years of experience working with children and loves being around them. She loves working at Junior Jets because it is close to home and she gets to spend time getting to know each child’s unique personality. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ken, and their four cats, Phoenix, Nora, Pixies, and Pogo, their two dogs, Aela and Mowgli, reading, traveling, baking and hiking.
Ms. Taylor, Preschool I Teacher
Ms. Taylor joined the Junior Jets team in June 2021. She has been working in childcare since 2014, working in centers and volunteering at the Immigrant and Refugee Center. She has a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Human Services, as well as her Directors Certificate and Infant Nursery Supervisor training. Ms. Taylor loves working at Junior Jets for the experience and being able to interact with children and see the world from their perspective. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her family, her boyfriend, her cat, Apollo, and dog, Arya. She also enjoys spending time outside, drawing, hiking, skiing, and volunteer work.
Ms. Doricela, Preschool II Teacher
Ms. Doricela joined the Junior Jets team in November 2017. She is currently working towards her Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Doricela started working in the early childhood field in 2016 and loves that she gets to be with kids all day! She lives in Longmont with her husband and in her spare time she enjoys playing soccer, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

Ms. Madison, Preschool II Teacher
Ms. Madison joined the Junior Jets team in February 2019. She is currently working towards her degree in Early Childhood Education. She loves working at Junior Jets because of the friendly staff and watching the toddlers learn and grow every day! When Ms. Madison is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family in Colorado, her older sister, older brother and niece Aria. She also enjoys camping, hiking and reading.
Ms. Laura, Pre-K Teacher
Ms. Laura joined the Junior Jets team in February 2020. Ms. Laura has a Bachelor Degree in Geography and Environmental Studies with a license in Kindergarten through 6th grade. She has lots of experience working with young children all the way up to 6th graders. She loves working at Junior Jets because she loves to watch children grow and learn. When Ms. Laura is not at work she enjoys spending time with her young son and her husband. She also enjoys crafting, fishing, camping and reading.
Ms. Berenice, Pre-K Teacher
Ms. Berenice joined the Junior Jets team in February 2020. She has been in the childcare industry since 2015 and loves coming to work to teach and learn with the children. She loves being able to help children learn and grow and celebrate their accomplishments with them. When Ms. Berenice is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Oscar, their two boys, Jordan and Oscar, her dog, Bella, and doing anything outdoors.
Ms. Shakira, Float Teacher
Ms. Shakira joined the Junior Jets team in January 2021. She is new to the childcare world but is working towards her associates in Early Childhood Education at Front Range Community College. She also has numerous certificates pertaining to the child care field and loves being able to spend time with children helping them learn and grow everyday. When Ms. Shakira is not working, she loves spending time with her family and friends as well as her dog, watching movies and traveling.
